Friday was an early day. Everyone was up, checked out, and at the coach with packed bags by 9 a.m. Then on to the train station to catch the Eurostar to Paris. The Eurostar travels under the English Channel by way of the "chunnel" to France. It was a beautiful and brisk winter day, and the French countryside was covered in a light blanket of snow. After a 2-1/2 hour train ride, we arrived in Paris at a beautiful train station. After checking in at L'hotel St. Lazare, we received Metro tickets and made our way to the Latin Quater of Paris for dinner and exploring.
